The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ Museum exhibits and preserves one of the world’s finest permanent collections of American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper; while next door, a new generation of students at the Academy School work to shape the future of American art in its studios.

For over 200 years, this unique and dynamic pairing of a museum and a school has created a renewable source of inspiration and energy for both entities. Furthermore, this association has provided the Museum with a number of its most valued acquisitions, and has established a legacy of work by some of PAFA’s most distinguished alumni.

Each year, we ask that you support the vital relationship between PAFA’s Museum and School by donating to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is a crucial source of financial support for PAFA because these funds address the institution’s most immediate needs – from financial aid and art conservation to facilities maintenance and security. PAFA relies on friends and alumni to provide support to continually improve the quality of education in the School and the growing number of programs and exhibitions at the Museum.
